Landscape Maintenance

The City of Yakima is seeking a contractor to provide landscape maintenance services for various city departments. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for landscape maintenance, including tree trimming, with some limitations. The contractor must provide a quote that includes all costs, with no surcharges for fuel, delivery, or hazardous material disposal. The city reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to accept the quote that is in the best interest of the city. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing landscape maintenance services for various city departments, including the Transit Transfer Center, Yakima Convention Center, Visitor's Information Center, Waste Water Collections, Waste Water Treatment Plant, and Yakima Police Department * Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for landscape maintenance * Tree trimming, with the limitation that trees above 6 feet will not be trimmed * Compliance with Washington State vehicle regulations, Federal regulations, OSHA and WISHA requirements, including EPA standards and City safety codes * Maintaining the required insurance, including general liability, automobile liability, and employer's liability insurance * Providing a quote that includes all costs, with no surcharges for fuel, delivery, or hazardous material disposal
