City Hall VAV Boxes Replacement Project

The City of East Providence is seeking a contractor to replace existing VAV boxes and controls at City Hall. The project includes the replacement of 17 VAV boxes, provision of new VAV controllers, modification of existing BAS, and testing and commissioning of the new system. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the work. The project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of VAV boxes on the first, second, and third floors • Provision of new VAV controllers and modification of existing BAS • Testing and commissioning of the new system • Compliance with prevailing wage rates and liquidated damages for delays • Submission of all O&M manuals, as-built drawings, training, warranties, and completion of all punch list items within 30 calendar days after Substantial Completion
