Petroleum Storage Tank Corrosion Control and Painting Services

The County of Sarasota is seeking a contractor to provide corrosion control and painting services for its petroleum storage tank systems. The contractor will be required to perform exterior corrosion removal, surface preparation, and protective coating/painting services for above-ground and underground storage tanks. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. The contract will be for a three-year term, and the County intends to award the contract to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest total bid price. • The contractor must provide all personnel and equipment necessary to perform the services. • The contractor must comply with all safety and environmental regulations. • The contractor must provide a qualified employee who can make on-site decisions and act as a fully authorized agent of the contractor. • The contractor must respond to non-expedited service requests within 24 hours and expedited service requests within 5 calendar days. • The contractor must provide a warranty for all work and materials for a period of one year.
