RFI 26-004 Third-Party Liability (TPL) Contractor Services

The State of Alaska, Department of Health, Division of Health Care Services is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding the provision of Third-Party Liability (TPL) contractor services to support the Recoveries and Reclamation Program. The program aims to identify, coordinate, and recover Medicaid expenditures from liable third parties. The contractor will be responsible for providing services such as data matching, coordination with insurers, cost avoidance measures, and recovery of payments from third-party carriers. • The contractor must have experience providing TPL services for state Medicaid agencies. • The contractor must have a workflow management system for TPL identification, verification, and recovery. • The contractor must have technology solutions such as data matching and reporting tools. • The contractor must ensure Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance, data security, and alignment with federal and state Medicaid requirements. • The contractor must provide an itemized, estimated cost range for an eight-year contract.
