Description
The County of Navajo, Arizona is seeking an Arizona‑licensed attorney or law firm to serve as the dedicated legal counsel for the Public Safety Personnel Retirement (PSPRS) Board and the Corrections Officer Retirement (CORP) Board. The contractor will provide a full suite of legal services—including advisory, drafting, representation, training, and rapid response—throughout a three‑year base period with two optional one‑year extensions. The solicitation uses a one‑step Statement‑of‑Qualifications (SOQ) process; bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope by the deadline, and the selected firm will negotiate fees after award.
• Provide legal advice, opinions, and representation to both retirement boards on all matters, including fiduciary duties, open‑meeting compliance, and litigation.
