Z--John W. Keys PGP 70 Ton Gantry and 60 Ton Bridge Crane Replacement

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a contractor to replace the PGP 70-ton gantry crane and 60-ton bridge crane at Grand Coulee Dam. The work will involve designing, coordinating, furnishing materials, and performing work for crane replacements, including removal and disposal of existing cranes, installation of new cranes, and commissioning. The project is anticipated to be issued sometime between mid to late January and will be set-aside as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Key components of the work include: • Existing cranes removal and disposal • Existing cranes rail adjustment and alignment or replacement • New cranes installation • Asbestos and hazardous materials abatement • Fabrication • Electrical power supply replacement up to the respective main power disconnects • Commissioning, including load tests and operation and maintenance training The order of magnitude for this project is between $10,000,000 - $20,000,000.
