Description
The New Jersey Department of Education is seeking a qualified contractor to provide pupil (student) transportation services for the 2026‑2027 school year across participating local Boards of Education. The contractor will operate school buses, adhere to strict driver‑license status notifications, retain all contract‑related records for five years, and satisfy extensive compliance certifications (insurance, testing, export‑control, affirmative‑action, non‑collusion, etc.). The solicitation includes a comprehensive list of required bid documents and is subject to oversight by the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller.
• Operate and manage school‑bus routes for multiple districts throughout the 2026‑2027 academic year.
• Maintain five‑year record retention and provide rapid (1‑business‑day) response to any driver‑license suspension/ revocation notices.
• Submit a full compliance package covering insurance, testing, foreign‑investment disclosures, and other statutory assurances.
• Must be a member of the Coordinated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) if submitting the CTSA‑specific form.
• All work governed by NJ statutes (NJSA 52:15C14(d), Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act, etc.).
