RFQ for On-Call Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing Services

The City of Lodi is seeking a qualified consultant to provide on-call geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services. The selected consultant will perform geotechnical investigations, materials sampling, testing, and inspection services for various City projects and provide reports and recommendations. The services will be performed under an established fee schedule, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum workload. The City's intent is to establish a not-to-exceed amount of $60,000 for the initial one-year term, with the possibility of extending the contract for up to five years. • The consultant shall provide geotechnical investigation and evaluation services, including subsurface investigations, soil and material sampling, laboratory testing, and preparation of geotechnical reports. • The consultant shall provide construction materials testing and inspection services, including field testing and inspection services, laboratory testing, and observation of construction activities. • The consultant shall provide reporting and documentation services, including daily field reports, compaction test results, laboratory reports, and final summaries. • The consultant shall demonstrate relevant experience from previously similar projects and provide resumes of the project manager, key personnel, and subconsultants. • The consultant shall provide work samples representative of their experience with similar geotechnical engineering and construction material testing services.
