RFP - Pool Contractors

The Grand Rapids Public Schools is seeking bids for the Ottawa Hills High School Pool Improvements project. The project includes various bid categories such as swimming pool and equipment, general trades, lath, plaster, drywall, and acoustical, DDC control systems, mechanical and plumbing, testing and balancing, and electrical. Bidders are required to have at least five years of successful experience in work of this type and scope. The bid documents can be examined at the Owen-Ames-Kimball Co. website or at the Builders Exchange plan rooms in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Traverse City. • Bid Category No. 3: Swimming Pool and Equipment • Bid Category No. 1: General Trades • Bid Category No. 2: Lath, Plaster, Drywall, and Acoustical • Bid Category No. 4: DDC Control Systems • Bid Category No. 5: Mechanical and Plumbing • Bid Category No. 6: Testing and Balancing • Bid Category No. 7: Electrical The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds. The bid security shall be in the form of a certified or cashier's check or a bid bond issued by a surety company.
