Description
The City of Springfield is seeking bids for the renovation of the DPW Fueling Depot, located at 70 Tapley St, Springfield, MA 01104. The project involves the installation of underground storage tanks, construction of a new canopy, installation of two fuel dispensers, a DEF tank, and a dispenser for DEF. After the new system is operational, the old system will be demolished. The estimated value of the contract is approximately $1,750,000.00.
• The project requires compliance with MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates.
• The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts.
• The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
• Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website, and questions regarding the bid must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than November 14, 2025.
