Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide maintenance support for the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various GE OEC and ultrasound equipment. The contract is for a base year with four option years. The contractor must have current factory training and experience in servicing the specified equipment and must meet the qualifications for their specialty. The contractor will provide all personnel and services to comply with the requirements of the contract.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Providing Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) for the specified equipment
• Providing customer support, including priority scheduling for service calls and unlimited technical services telephone support
• Providing diagnostic and resolution services, including diagnosis/root cause analysis and correction of errors/defects in programs
• Replacing parts, labor, and travel to perform maintenance service and repairs
• Furnishing all personnel and services to comply with the requirements of the contract
