Description
The project involves bus stop improvements, including excavation, grading, installation of concrete sidewalk, driveway aprons, curband gutter, installation of bus shelters, and installation of detectable warning surface to increase pedestrian access and ADA compliance. The project scope includes erosion and sediment control, salvage and spread topsoil, turfgrass establishment, and other miscellaneous items. The successful Offeror/Contractor will be required to complete the work within 365 calendar days after the "Notice To Proceed."
• The project requires the installation of various items, including concrete curb and gutter, concrete header curb, concrete sidewalk, and detectable warning surface.
• The project also requires the placement of salvaged subsoil, furnished topsoil, and turfgrass sod establishment.
• The successful Offeror/Contractor will be liable for "Liquidated Damages" of $500.00 per calendar day late if the work is not completed in the specified time.
• The proposal price will be firm for a time period of 180 calendar days from the proposal due date.
