Request for Proposals for Engineering Services

The City of Tupelo is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a water infrastructure project. The scope of work includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate, Engineering report, plans and specifications, bid documents, and construction inspection. The City of Tupelo encourages Minority owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit proposals. The evaluation factors include Qualifications, Experience, and Capacity for Performance. • The project involves a water infrastructure application with potential funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission and/or other federal funding agencies. • The engineer will be responsible for performing all engineering services through project closeout. • The City of Tupelo reserves the right to reject and/or all proposals. • The contract will be awarded to the qualified individual or firm whose proposal has the highest number of cumulative points issued by the selection committee.
