CryoEM Server/Workstation

The University of Iowa is seeking a CryoEM Server/Workstation accompanied by a Support Care Plan for the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. The system will support high-throughput CryoEM data processing workflows, enabling advanced computational analysis for the Department’s research programs in structural biology and molecular physiology. Key features of the proposed system include: * 4U full-tower or rack-mountable GPU workstation * Two Intel Xeon Scalable Platinum 8558 processors (48-core, 2.1 GHz each) * 1 TB ECC Registered DDR5 DRAM * Eight NVIDIA RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell GPUs, 48 GB GDDR7 each * 960 GB SSD for boot * Two 8 TB NVMe SSDs for scratch storage, configured as a single high-performance volume * Dual 10-gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) interfaces * Included rackmount kit * Secondary network card * Pre-installation of OS and Cryo-EM software * Support and Care Plan with a minimum of 3 years parts and labor warranty * Online Customer Access * RELION optimization and automation * Component substitutions not explicitly approved by the University prior to bid submission are not permitted.
