Description
The City of Hickory is seeking bids for the lease of Corporate Hangar W4 at the Hickory Regional Airport. The hangar is approximately 12,000 square feet and includes an interior one-story 3,000 square foot space with offices, storage, kitchen, restrooms, and 2,500 square feet of covered vehicle parking. The initial lease term is expected to be 5 years, with the option to extend for an additional 5 years. The minimum initial rent is $7,500 per month. The successful bidder will be responsible for maintaining the hangar and paying for all utilities, including water, sewer, gas, and electricity.
• The hangar is located on the West Ramp of the airport and has airside access via taxiways to Runway 06/24.
• The City will provide exterior maintenance, including repairs to the hangar door and exterior walls.
• The successful bidder will be required to provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The City reserves the right to terminate the lease if the successful bidder fails to comply with the terms of the agreement.
• The successful bidder will be required to pay a security deposit and provide a certificate of insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
