One FTE Hematology Oncology Physician Services (Fresno, CA) Market Research

The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify potential vendors that can provide Hematology Oncology Physician Services at the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. The contractor will be required to provide one full-time equivalent (FTE) Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician. The period of performance is expected to be one base year and one potential option year, with an estimated 1,992 hours of work per year. The contractor's physician(s) will be required to provide care to patients in critical/acute care settings, assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of inpatients with emergent conditions, and provide timely and proactive discharge planning. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that their physician(s) meet the qualifications and requirements outlined in the performance work statement, including being board certified/board eligible in Hematology/Oncology and having current licensure to practice medicine in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States.
