The Quincy Housing Authority is seeking bids for the Federal Pacific Electrical (FPE) Panel Replacement and Fire Alarm (FA) project. The project involves the replacement of Federal Pacific Panels and the installation of a new addressable fire alarm system at several locations in Quincy, MA. • The project includes the installation of a new exterior door to the main electrical room and the replacement of all electrical room doors on floors 2 through 12.
• The project requires the bidder to agree to contract with minority, women, and veteran-owned business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO).
• The participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than the assigned percentage for all state and state-assisted construction projects over $150,000.
• The Contractor and all subcontractors must strive to achieve minority and women workforce participation, with a benchmark of 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities.
