The State of Illinois Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive fire‑alarm system maintenance and inspection services for the Edwards system at the Quincy Veterans Home (Hammond Hall) over the FY27‑FY31 period. The work includes quarterly testing and inspection, straight‑time and overtime labor rates for routine maintenance, and emergency rates for after‑hours service. The contractor must be a direct employee (no subcontractors) and must meet NFPA 72/71 standards, provide quarterly written reports, and respond to system impairments within strict time frames.
• Quarterly on‑site testing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of the Edwards fire‑alarm panel and all initiating devices.
• Labor rates defined for straight‑time (Mon‑Fri 8 am‑5 pm), overtime (Mon‑Fri 5 pm‑8 am and Saturdays), and emergency (Sundays/holidays) with required response times.
• Mandatory pre‑bid walkthrough on 13 Nov 2026; all staff must be directly employed, insured, and licensed; quarterly written reports due within five business days after each service visit.
