Erie Municipal Airport (EIK) Consultant Selection

The Town of Erie is seeking a principal airport consultant to provide engineering services on an as-needed basis for Erie Municipal Airport (EIK) for the next five years. The services are anticipated to relate primarily to Airport Capital Improvement Projects and will be defined in individual Task Orders to the Design Services Agreement. Services to be provided are anticipated to include survey, geotechnical, civil design, architectural design, estimating, analysis of alternatives, preparation of construction documents, and other work or services requested by the Town. The successful consultant must also be qualified and able to provide resident engineering services, construction administration services, and assistance to the Airport and Town in the bidding process. Key aspects of the project include: • Pavement Maintenance • Construct Apron, Taxilanes, and Taxiways • Rehabilitate Apron, Taxilanes, and Taxiways • Runway Rehabilitation • Hangar Development • RSA Drainage Improvements • Airfield Lighting and Navaid Rehabilitation The Town plans to award a five-year contract for these engineering services, subject to review on an annual basis.
