Description
The Dougherty County School System is seeking a firm to provide contract Special Education Teachers (Adaptive and General Curriculum) and Paraprofessionals. The selected vendor will provide instruction, accommodations, and support for students with disabilities as outlined in their Individualized Education Program (IEP). The scope of work includes conducting IEP meetings, collaborating with general education teachers and other staff, and developing and implementing the IEP Plan. The vendor must provide approximately 14 Special Education Paraprofessionals and 1 Special Education Teacher. The time frame for the project is July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
Key requirements include:
• Providing Special Education Teachers and Paraprofessionals who meet GA certification requirements
• Having experience working with students with disabilities
• Being knowledgeable of IEP development and implementation
• Providing a pricing plan, including hourly rates for Special Education Teachers and Paraprofessionals
• Submitting proposals in a specific format, including tabs for description of services, experience, certifications, and budget
