D--SPECIAL NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO SOLE SOURCE

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to award a sole source contract to Illumina, Inc. for the purchase of a MiSeq i100 Plus System for genetic tracking of Chinook salmon. The contract will be for a firm fixed price of 12 months. The system will be used to collect genetic data from Chinook salmon from Coleman National Fish Hatchery, which will be used by state, tribal, private sector, and federal partners. The contractor must provide the instrument, reagent kits, and flow cells necessary for optimizing GTSeq panels, and PhiX control.
