Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial Item, Purchase Order to provide Advance Practice Provider (APP) Services for the Medical Department at Rosebud IHS, Rosebud, South Dakota.

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide Advance Practice Provider (APP) services at the Rosebud IHS Hospital in Rosebud, South Dakota. The contractor will be required to provide two full-time equivalent APP positions, either Physician Assistants (PAs) or Nurse Practitioners (NPs), to deliver outpatient primary care services. The services will include adult and pediatric primary care, chronic disease management, preventive services, and acute outpatient visits. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining all required licenses and national certifications, adhering to IHS policies and clinical protocols, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. • The contract will be for a base period of 3 months, with three 3-month option periods. • The contractor will be required to provide services in the Outpatient Department (OPD) Clinic, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, excluding federal holidays. • The contractor will be required to maintain accurate and legible medical records, complete required IHS performance measure documentation, and participate in facility quality improvement initiatives. • The contractor will be required to adhere to all IHS policies, Rosebud IHS Hospital medical staff bylaws, clinical protocols, patient safety standards, HIPAA privacy and security requirements, and applicable federal regulations. • The contractor will be required to maintain patient confidentiality at all times and comply with 45 CFR Parts 160 and 164 (HIPAA). • The contractor will be required to report all adverse patient events, near-misses, and sentinel events through the IHS ISTAR Reporting System in accordance with facility policy.
