Re-issue of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Maint/Repair/Inst for Washington County

Washington County Facilities Division is seeking a contractor to provide parts, batteries, maintenance, installation, and repairs of the various uninterruptable power supply (UPS) units located in multiple buildings across the county. The contract will be based on time and material costs, and the estimated expenditure for this contract will be $500,000. The contractor will be required to provide annual maintenance and service on the County's Uninterruptable Power Supply Units (UPS), bi-annual service on the batteries for the UPS, scheduled replacement of UPS capacitors and batteries, and other related maintenance services as requested. The contractor will also be required to provide emergency response services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Some key points to consider are: * The contractor must have access to any required factory-recommended software and parts to service and repair all equipment. * The contractor must provide a written service/inspection report to the county's contract administrator for all work performed. * The contractor must ensure that all employees assigned to this work successfully complete a County security background check before arriving on site and beginning any work. * The contractor must provide a written estimate for each non-scheduled service, sent to the Contract Administrator or their designee for approval, prior to the commencement of any work. * The contractor must replace or install equipment and/or components, as scheduled or authorized by the Contract Administrator, upon request.
