PEO-SW: Low-Cost Thermal EO/IR FPV Cameras Assessment Event (AE)

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is seeking low-cost thermal EO/IR FPV cameras for use in small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). The primary focus is on fixed-mounted cameras with low size, weight, and power (SWaP) consumption, while the secondary focus is on gimballed payloads with IR pointers. The goal is to reduce the overall cost of the Group 1 UAS program. Interested respondents can submit their capabilities for review, and favorably evaluated submissions will receive an invitation to attend the Assessment Event (AE). • The AE will be held in person at SOFWERX with a virtual component. • The event will include a Q&A portion and discussions may continue outside of the event. • Solution brief presentation guidelines will be outlined in the event invitation. • Successfully negotiated awards may fall under various categories, including business to business research and development agreements, other transaction agreements (OTAs), and procurement for experimental purposes.
