CDBG - Public Infrastructure

Dane County is soliciting applications from municipalities for the acquisition, construction, or rehabilitation of public facilities projects located in the participating municipalities of the Dane County Urban County Consortium. The primary emphasis for this RFP is on properties owned by the municipality. Funding is expected to be available under the HUD-funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The maximum amount of funding for the Public Infrastructure project area is approximately $294,000, and it is expected that one or multiple projects will be funded in this category. Key aspects of the project include: • The project must benefit low-and-moderate-income persons in the participating municipalities of the Dane County Urban County Consortium. • The project must meet documented community needs and be consistent with the Dane County Consolidated Plan. • The project must be shovel-ready, meaning that work will begin in the year in which the contract is awarded. • The project must submit monthly financial and beneficiary reports, and semi-annual/final program narrative reports.
