Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to renovate the IR Cath Lab at the VA WPB facility. The project involves the renovation of the existing IR Cath Lab, including the installation of new medical equipment, electrical and plumbing systems, and finishes. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. The project will require coordination with the VA staff to minimize disruption to the adjacent active procedure room.
Some key aspects of the project include:
• The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary rough-in and infrastructure for the new medical equipment.
• The contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing all cabinets and casework.
• The contractor is responsible for providing a complete set of as-builts for all work areas, including structural and MEPFP drawings.
• The contractor must work with the VA staff to minimize disruption to the adjacent active procedure room.
• The project requires the installation of a pneumatic tube system and the relocation of utility systems.
