Water and Sewer Mains and Services

The City of Norwich is seeking bids for the installation or repair of water and sewer mains and services. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and incidentals. The work must be performed in accordance with the City's specifications, regulations, and applicable codes and standards. The materials will be furnished by the Owner. Some key aspects of the project include: • The installation or repair of mains and services made of ductile iron, plastic, and copper • Compliance with the City of Norwich Department of Public Utilities Regulations, the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health, and all applicable Federal, State, and Local codes and Standards • Furnishing of materials by the Owner • Performance of work in accordance with the Owner's specifications The project requires the contractor to have experience in heavy construction services, sewer line construction, water main construction, and infrastructure building and surfacing and paving services.
