Amendment No. 1 to Solicitation of a Concession Business Opportunity to Operate Guided Horseback Rides, Horse Boarding, and Horse Camp Services within Point Reyes National Seashore

The National Park Service is seeking proposals for a concession business opportunity to operate guided horseback rides, horse boarding, and horse camp services within Point Reyes National Seashore. The contract term is 10 years, effective December 2026, and the estimated investment is $346,000. The concessioner will be required to pay a percentage franchise fee to the government and provide personal property improvement requirements for employee housing accommodations. The estimated year 1 revenue is between $304,000 and $336,000. • The concessioner will be responsible for operating Five Brooks Stables and Five Brooks Horse Camp within the Point Reyes National Seashore. • The concessioner will be required to provide guided horseback rides, horse boarding, and horse camp services. • The concessioner will be responsible for maintaining the concession facilities and providing excellent customer service. • The concessioner will be required to comply with all National Park Service regulations and policies. • The concessioner will be responsible for employing staff and managing the concession operation.
