Solicitation for a Concessions Business Opportunity to provide Kayak Rental Services within Glacier Bay National Park

The National Park Service is seeking a qualified concessionaire to operate a kayak rental service within Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve. The award will be a concession contract allowing the vendor to provide, maintain, and manage kayak rentals to park visitors, adhering to all NPS regulations and safety standards. The contractor will be responsible for equipment acquisition, staffing, customer service, and revenue collection, with the contract expected to commence on February 1 2027. • Provide and maintain a fleet of kayaks and safety gear for public use. • Operate a rental kiosk or staffed location within the park, handling sales, rentals, and customer queries. • Ensure compliance with NPS environmental, safety, and operational policies, including reporting and revenue sharing. • Manage staffing, training, and day‑to‑day operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory control. • Deliver a high‑quality visitor experience that aligns with park conservation and visitor‑experience goals.
