Provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services. The contractor will provide a Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert (MRSE) to consult on MRI safety-related questions, issues, and requirements. The MRSE will assist in developing and maintaining MR Safety and QA programs, provide guidance on MR safe imaging of implanted medical devices, and participate in the planning, installation, and acceptance of new MR equipment. The contract period is expected to be approximately 5 years, with a base year and four option periods. • The contractor must provide a board-certified MRSE with experience in MRI safety and quality assurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, and VA policies. • The contractor must provide a detailed plan for destruction of all VA data in its possession upon completion or termination of the contract.
