Property Security at Gude and Oaks Landfills

The County of Montgomery is seeking a contractor to provide security services for the Gude and Oaks landfills. The contractor will be responsible for providing security guard services, inspecting fences, gates, and cables, and performing facility inspections and maintenance. The contract will be for a period of one year, with two optional one-year renewals. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Maryland State Laws and the County's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements. The contractor must also provide proof of insurance and certification of good standing. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing security guard services for 3,105 hours per year at each landfill • Inspecting fences, gates, and cables on a monthly basis • Performing facility inspections and maintenance on a monthly basis • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including EHS requirements • Providing proof of insurance and certification of good standing • Participating in quarterly drills and exercises to validate the adequacy and effectiveness of the County's Emergency Response Plan
