East Side Library RFP for Construction Services

The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government is seeking a construction services provider for the East Side Public Library Project. The project involves constructing a new 16,924 square foot branch library. The provider will be responsible for construction staging, project logistics planning, procurement, buyout, permitting, planning, scheduling, quality control, and quality assurance. The project is expected to be completed by Spring 2027. • The project is funded through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Program (SPLOST 2020, Project 25). • The estimated range of costs for the construction of this project is between $8,000,000 and $9,500,000. • The provider will be required to coordinate with the owner-issued third-party geotechnical services, architect/engineering firm, facilities maintenance ACC staff, and other owner-held consultants. • The provider will be required to provide a price proposal, including a preliminary schedule, after being shortlisted. • The contract will be awarded based on the best value to ACCGov after evaluation.
