Description
The Columbia County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the installation of emergency back-up generators at three locations: the Columbia County Exhibition Center, Columbia County Fire Station 16, and Building C at the Columbia County Government Complex. The bid includes the provision of backup generators and associated equipment. Bidders must have a State of Georgia General Contractor’s License and a Columbia County Business License. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET.
• The bid must be submitted electronically through the county's website.
• A bid bond of at least 5% of the lump sum bid is required.
• The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount.
• Questions must be submitted online via Bonfire Interactive before 5:00 PM ET on July 1, 2026.
• The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
