Medical Director and Physician Services at State Veterans Nursing Home

The Mississippi Veterans Affairs is seeking a Medical Director and Physician to provide services at the State Veterans Nursing Home in Oxford, Mississippi. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing medical assessments, care plans, and primary physician services to residents. The contract will be for a period of two years, with the option for a one-year renewal. The vendor must have a valid license to practice medicine in Mississippi and must provide evidence of licensure with their proposal. • The Medical Director will be responsible for examining applicants for admission, providing medical assessments and care plans, and performing medical reviews of residents. • The Physician will be responsible for providing primary physician services, performing medical evaluations, and prescribing medications as needed. • The vendor must have experience in providing similar services and must provide references with their proposal. • The contract will be awarded to the vendor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the state, taking into consideration price and evaluation factors.
