The National Park Service intends to award a single source justified cooperative agreement to the Great Basin Institute (GBI) for the project "Paleontological Resources of the Lower Colorado Region, Lake Mead NRA". The project will involve developing a scientific research permitting process, conducting a comprehensive literature review, building a database, and drafting a preliminary paleontological resources report. The project will be conducted with a GBI Research Associate paleontologist who will collaborate with NPS and USBR personnel.
