Replacement of Interstate 540‑Euper Water Line Crossing

The City of Fort Smith is soliciting sealed bids for the replacement of an existing Interstate 540‑Euper water‑line crossing. The work comprises roughly 385 linear feet of new 20‑inch water pipe and about 320 feet of 36‑inch encasement, to be installed using boring and open‑cut methods. Bidders must be licensed General Contractors under Arkansas Act 150, include their license number on the bid, and submit a bid bond as required. Bids are due by 10 a.m. on March 31, 2026 at the Engineering Department office; they will be publicly opened thereafter. Small, minority, and women‑owned businesses are encouraged to participate.
