RFP to Outsource Roads and Grounds

The City of Walthourville is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive Roads and Grounds Maintenance Services. The selected vendor will be responsible for routine maintenance, emergency response, and post-event recovery in alignment with the City's standards. The Scope of Work includes road maintenance, grounds maintenance, emergency response, and lift station grounds maintenance. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials to perform the tasks outlined in the RFP. Some key responsibilities include: • Routine road and roadside cleaning • General grounds maintenance • Erection, maintenance, and replacement of road signs • Mowing and lawn maintenance at the city's eleven lift stations • Emergency response services related to roads and grounds • Drainage ditch maintenance • Right-of-way maintenance • Performance oversight and reporting The City anticipates entering into a contract with a qualified contractor that submits the proposal judged to be the most advantageous and cost-effective to the City.
