Description
The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District is seeking bids for the replacement of two boilers at Williams Intermediate School. The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing boilers, preparation of the concrete pads, installation of two new HB Smith BRTS/28HE-8 cast-iron sectional hot-water boilers, and all necessary modifications, insulation, start-up, and commissioning. The contractor must have a minimum of ten years of experience installing commercial or institutional hydronic boiler systems and must be DCAMM certified in HVAC.
• The project requires the installation of two new boilers with a minimum output rating of 850,000 BTU/hr per unit and a minimum combustion efficiency of 80%.
• The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and services necessary to complete the project.
• The project must be completed by December 31, 2025.
• The contractor must provide a warranty for the work for a period of one year after completion.
