Mowing Services at Norwalk Equalization Basin

The City of Des Moines Wastewater Reclamation Authority is seeking quotes from qualified vendors for the provision of annual mowing services at the Norwalk Equalization Basin. The contract term is for one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. The contractor will be required to mow the site seven times per year, with each mowing occurrence including trimming around pull boxes, manholes, control panels, transformer, and generator. The contractor must also verify that the site is dry enough to mow prior to each mowing occurrence and notify the WRA of any areas that cannot be mowed. • The site is an active sanitary sewer equalization basin, approximately 115 acres in size. • The contractor will be paid for one mowing cycle for each mowing occurrence. • The contractor must submit an invoice for each mowing occurrence. • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or technicalities in any bids.
