The Killeen Initial Outfitting Transition and Activation (IOTA) project involves the initial outfitting and activation of a new clinic. The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive interior design and FF&E planning services, including the development of a Master Artwork Plan, coordination of signage and casework, and procurement and installation of FF&E. The contractor will work closely with the VA Interior Designer and the A/E design team to ensure that all design elements are coordinated and meet the VA's requirements. The project includes relocation of personnel and equipment, and the contractor will be responsible for developing a relocation plan and coordinating with the VA to ensure a smooth transition. The project is expected to start in 2029, with an estimated 582 staff members and potentially less than 100 staff relocating from other locations.
