Notice of Continued Performance During a Lapse in Appropriations

The notice informs contractors that during a lapse in appropriations, the terms and conditions of their funded contracts remain in full force and effect. Unless directed otherwise by a Contracting Officer, contractors are required to continue performance. However, this notification does not authorize contractors to exceed the funding obligated on their contracts. • The appropriation funding for Government operations expired on September 30, 2025. • Contractors must continue performance unless directed otherwise by a Contracting Officer. • Contractors are not authorized to exceed the funding obligated on their contracts. • Contractors can contact their Contracting Officer or their designee if they have any questions.
