The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate the Milton E Proby Parkway at the Colorado Springs Airport. The work includes asphalt milling and overlay, full‑depth asphalt and concrete repairs, ADA improvements, and final pavement markings across two defined areas, with a design‑build style Fixed‑Unit‑Price contract valued at approximately $5‑$5.4 million. The contractor must handle traffic control, storm‑water management, safety plans, and secure multiple performance bonds and insurance coverages. • Scope: asphalt milling (2.5") & overlay (4.5"), full‑depth asphalt & concrete repairs, ADA upgrades, signage & markings. • Locations: Airport roadway – Area 2 (70 day schedule) and Area 3 (110 day schedule). • Requirements: electronic bid submission via BidNet, 5 % bid bond (if > $50 k), 100 % performance & payment bonds, extensive safety, ADA, and FAA compliance, and provision of a Construction Safety & Phasing Plan.
