Historic County Building and Annex Roof Repairs

The County of Kauai is seeking bids for the Historic County Building and Annex Roof Repairs project. The project involves the removal and replacement of existing clay tile roofing materials, underlayment, flashing, and associated accessories on the entire roof area (approximately 5,000 sq. ft.). The replacement roofing shall match the existing roof in appearance, profile, size, and color as closely as possible. The contractor shall also inspect and repair the roof deck or other substrates contributing to interior leaks prior to the installation of new materials. • The project requires a valid Hawaiʻi State C-42 (Roofing) or B (General Building) Contractor’s License. • The contractor shall submit all required submittals to the Officer-In-Charge no later than 2 weeks following the Notice-To-Proceed. • The contractor shall remove debris and protect building surfaces during construction. • The contractor shall repair damage to adjacent areas caused by roofing operations.
