Ag. Science Annex Substation Transformer

West Virginia University is seeking a qualified manufacturer or distributor to provide one primary substation liquid filled transformer to the Agricultural Science Annex Substation on the Evansdale Campus in Morgantown, WV. The successful proposer will be required to provide a transformer that meets the specifications outlined in the RFP. The evaluation criteria for this RFP include company qualifications and experience, similar product experience, products and equipment, schedule, and pricing. • The RFP includes a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on February 17, 2026, at 11:00am EST. • Proposers must submit their proposals through the WVU Public Bid Site by February 25, 2026, at 12:00pm EST. • The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposals received. • The successful proposer will be required to enter into a contract that is substantially the same as the sample contract provided with the RFP. • The University strongly prefers to utilize electronic payments in its transactions. • The successful proposer will be required to obtain and maintain insurance coverage during the term of the contract.
