Wrecker Service and Auto Pound Operation

The City of Irving is seeking a contractor to provide vehicle wrecker service within the city limits and occasionally in other cities within the Metroplex. The service should be available 24/7, 365 days a year. The contractor will be required to provide a minimum of 7 tow trucks during daytime hours and 5 tow trucks during nighttime hours. The city encourages electronic submission of proposals and will not accept verbal or emailed questions. • The contractor will be responsible for providing wrecker service to the Irving Police Department. • The contractor will be required to meet the response time requirements. • The contractor will be responsible for delivering vehicles to the City Auto Pound or another secure location determined by the IPD. • The contractor will be required to provide an equipment list along with their proposal.
