UCLA Parking Lot 36 Transit Hub

UCLA is seeking an Executive Architect to develop the design for a new multimodal Transit Hub on Parking Lot 36, connecting the forthcoming Metro D‑Line Westwood/UCLA station with campus and surrounding neighborhoods. The architect will lead full‑design services (pre‑design, schematic, design development, construction documents) and coordinate with Metro, the university, and other stakeholders. The project may be delivered via CMAR or Design‑Bid‑Build, with possible future phases and a target completion in fall 2027. • Scope includes master‑planning, architectural design, sustainability compliance (UC Sustainable Practices, Title 24), and integration of bus, micro‑mobility, and inductive charging infrastructure. • Coordination required with Metro Subway D Line, UCLA Geffen Academy, and various transit agencies. • Delivery method TBD; architect must be prepared for either CMAR or Design‑Bid‑Build and be excluded from any future Progressive Design‑Build team.
