Background Investigation Software System

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is seeking a secure, cloud-based, pre-employment background investigation software system to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and security of the hiring process. The proposed system must integrate with the current digital system and comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations. The system should include features such as automated background checks, integration with national and state databases, and customizable workflows. The contract term is expected to be five years. Key features and requirements of the proposed system include: • Security and compliance with regulations such as FCRA, EEO, and CJIS • Automated background checks and integration with databases • Customizable workflows and permission levels for agency users • Electronic document management and storage • 24/7 customer support and training resources • Two-factor authentication and regular security audits The proposer should have experience providing background investigation software system services to law enforcement clients and meet the minimum qualifications outlined in the RFP.
