Pre-Design Consultants and Contractors for ADU Loan Program

The City of Pasadena Housing Department is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to collect details from consultants and contractors who can provide pre-design and construction services in support of the City’s 2nd Unit Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Loan Program. The information gathered will be used to create an informational list of consultants that homeowners may reference when seeking professional services for their ADU projects. The list will include firms specializing in areas such as structural engineering, civil engineering, design services, Title 24/energy consulting, surveying, and geotechnical engineering. • The RFI aims to connect homeowners with useful resources while supporting a smoother pre-design process for ADU development. • The City will not guarantee that equipment involved in Solicitation Submission will be available to provide information or receive transmittals. • The City will not be liable for any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the selection, engagement, or performance of any consultant or contractor listed. • The RFI process may contribute to, and be used for, the guidance of a formal solicitation. • No payment shall be made to individuals, contractors, suppliers, or manufacturers that represent for information and solutions provided in response to this RFI.
