The Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority (CCMWA) is requesting pre-qualification packages from contractors for upcoming Ductile Iron Pipe water main construction projects. All contractors, including previously qualified firms, must submit updated qualifications. The pre-qualification requirements are based on demonstrated experience with ductile iron pipe installation, as well as personnel qualifications and financial capability.
• The application package should include five hard copies of the Contractor's Qualification Statement and Application, one PDF copy on a USB drive, and one separately sealed copy of financial records.
• The pre-qualification process will be reviewed by CCMWA's Engineering, Transmission, and Finance staff.
• Contractors meeting all requirements will be recommended to the CCMWA Board for prequalification status for a 2-year cycle.
