Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform an assessment of the current meal delivery process and provide recommendations for enhanced delivery methods and options at the TVHS Nashville Campus. The contractor will conduct on-site and remote assessments, provide a comprehensive final report, and offer staffing recommendations and menu analysis. The contract period is expected to be one year, with a base period of performance from August 20, 2026, to August 19, 2027.
• The contractor will assess the current meal delivery process and provide recommendations for optimized delivery methods and operational options.
• The contractor will evaluate existing kitchen equipment and identify equipment that could improve efficiency, workflow, and meal delivery effectiveness.
• The contractor will conduct an in-depth review of the facility and Food & Nutrition department, including infrastructure, layout, operational flow, staffing, and culture.
• The contractor will meet with facility stakeholders to discuss preliminary findings and address questions prior to departure.
• The contractor will present a preliminary summary of findings to Senior Leadership during an exit conference.
